Welcome to the first day of Dreamy December Days! Are you excited? I’M EXCITED! We’re super excited to have all of you with us.

If you haven’t signed up, there’s still time to do so. Just link us up:

For today’s author feature, hop on to Books Keep Me Sane to read an excerpt from Hope’s Decree and to learn more about the wonderful Angela McPherson!

I would also like to spotlight two of our sponsors today. They won’t be having any author features, but I do want to show them some love. So meet A.G. Howard and Staci Hart~ If you already know them, leave some comments as why you like/love them! They’re giving out copies of their books for the prizes in the read-a-thon~

a.g. howardAnita Grace Howard lives in the Texas panhandle, and is most at home weaving the melancholy and macabre into settings and scenes, twisting the expected into the unexpected. She’s inspired by all things flawed, utilizing the complex loveliness of human conditions and raw emotions to give her characters life, then turning their world upside down so the reader’s blood will race.
Married and mother of two teens (as well as surrogate mom to two Labrador retrievers), Anita divides her days between spending time with her family and plodding along or plotting on her next book.
When she’s not writing, Anita enjoys rollerblading, biking, snow skiing, gardening, and family vacations that at any given time might include an impromptu side trip to an 18th century graveyard or a condemned schoolhouse for photo ops.

staci hartStaci Hart has been a lot of things up to this point in her life — a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can’t forget that. She’s also been a mom; she has three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She’s been a wife; even though she’s certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She’s also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she’s been drinking whiskey. Her favorite word starts with f, ends with k, and there a uc in there. Just saying. From roots in Houston, to a seven year stint in Southern California, Staci and her family ended up settling somewhere in between and equally north, in Denver. They are new enough that snow is still magical. When she’s not writing, she’s sleeping, cleaning, or designing graphics. But let’s be honest, she’s mostly writing.

I have TONS of books that I badly want, but I’m limiting myself so that this post won’t take up to much space. XD

In no particular order:

Books I want to own and read:

Bang the chaos of stars the theory of everything prodigydays of blood & starlight

Books I need to own on PB or HB:

Click to Subscribe American Girl On Saturn backward glass Beta unreap my heart

Books that need to be released faster:

Ignite Me The Promise of Amazing Unhinged EndersLet the Storms Break

(I’m not sure if anyone noticed, but the sponsors for the read-a-thon are authors I personally love so you’ll be seeing some of their books in my posts)

  1. I love your list of books for your Bookish Christmas Wishes! It is so hard to narrow down the “I want” list of books to only a few for Christmas time! I always hate having to choose!

I have had Splintered and Moth in the Mirror on my TBR list of a while now! I’m really hoping that I will get to them during this Read-A-Thon! I’ve heard such amazing things about A.G. Howard!
